Job summary

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in senior diagnostic roles, possess Master Technician certification, and hold a valid driver’s license. Base salary plus performance incentives, visa, accommodation, and flights provided.

Qualifications

• Certified Master Technician with relevant regional Master Certification (e.g., ASE Master).
• Minimum 5+ years as Senior/Master Diagnostic Technician in franchised dealership.
• Strong diagnostic skills across electrical/mechanical systems and EV/ADAS.
• Valid, clean driver’s license to road-test vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced diagnostics using OEM/aftermarket tools and CAN networks.
• Perform high-level engine, transmission, drivetrain, and ADAS repairs to standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff.
• Ensure quality through road tests and strict QA.Maintain safety, health, and environmental compliance.
• Pursue ongoing OEM training and certifications.

Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled, certified Master Technician to join our elite service team. In this role, you will serve as the workshop’s primary technical authority, tackling the most complex mechanical, electrical, and computer diagnostic challenges. Beyond exceptional hands-on work, you will provide technical leadership, quality control, and mentorship to junior technicians and apprentices.

Key Responsibilities

• Advanced Diagnostics: Utilize advanced OEM and aftermarket diagnostic software, oscilloscopes, and scanners to accurately identify complex electrical, network (CAN bus), mechanical, and drivability issues.
• Precision Repairs: Perform high-level engine, transmission, drivetrain, ADAS, and hybrid/electric vehicle repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Act as the go-to technical advisor for the workshop, guiding and mentoring apprentices and qualified technicians through challenging diagnostics.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct final road tests and quality control checks on complex repairs to eliminate "comebacks" and guarantee customer satisfaction.
• Efficiency & Safety: Maintain high efficiency and productivity benchmarks while strictly adhering to workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Continuous Learning: Keep up-to-date with the latest factory training, technical service bulletins (TSBs), and emerging automotive technologies.

Requirements

• Certification:Certified Trade Test / Red Seal (Automotive Motor Mechanic) or equivalent regional Master Technician Certification (e.g., ASE Master Certified, OEM Master Status).
• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience working as a Senior or Master Diagnostic Technician within a franchised dealership environment.
• Technical Mastery: Proven track record of diagnosing complex electrical and mechanical faults on modern vehicle systems. Experience with [insert specific brands, e.g., European, Asian, or EV systems] is highly advantageous.
• License: Valid, clean Driver’s License (Code B or higher) to conduct vehicle road tests.
• Tools: Must possess a comprehensive, professional toolset appropriate for a Master-level role.
