What will you be doing?

The role will be responsible for the profitable marketing of all Smith & Nephew Orthopaedics Trauma and Clinical Therapies products and the attainment of short-term agreed sales and profit targets, as well as devising and implementing marketing strategies that will ensure the short, medium, and long-term profitability of the products within the portfolio.

What will you need to be successful?
  • Establish and nurture the relationship between Key Contacts and Smith & Nephew and commercialise these relationships.
  • Experience in establishing ongoing educational programmes on the Orthopaedic Trauma product portfolio and co‑ordinating the programmes through academic and non‑academic outlets throughout the country.
  • Experience in the formulation and implementation of short-, medium- and long‑term strategic plans for brands.
  • The ability to keep abreast of local and international developments and trends in the marketplace.
  • Experience in compiling, presenting, and managing annual sales budgets.
  • Good customer relations and providing support to the sales force.
Successful candidates would need the following:
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare and marketing.
  • 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical Industry.
