FNB Retail Marketing Portfolio Marketing Manager

FNB Retail Marketing is looking for a dynamic, highly skilled Portfolio Marketing Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities include partnering with Business Unit Executive Committees by assessing business needs, providing marketing solutions, advising and directing the development of relevant marketing programmes aligned with the business strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Campaign support and execution across product launches, service rollouts, and marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Segments teams and coordinate the development of marketing assets (digital banners, print materials, social media content).
  • Ensure all marketing materials are on-brand, aligned with go-to-market strategy, and meet campaign objectives.
  • Manage day-to-day activities for campaign rollouts, including timelines, deliverables, and approvals.
  • Cross‑functional collaboration with Product Development, Digital Marketing, Sales, and Communications to deliver seamless go‑to‑market initiatives.
  • Act as liaison between internal teams and external agencies to align stakeholders.
  • Work with Channel & Sales to provide collateral, training, and support for campaigns.
  • Manage relationships with advertising, media, and content agencies; ensure timely delivery of creative assets.
  • Assist in preparing creative briefs for external partners.
  • Monitor agency performance and deliverables quality.
  • Develop content marketing materials (blogs, social media posts, email newsletters, product brochures) in collaboration with content team and external partners.
  • Coordinate distribution of content across bank website, social media, email, and in‑branch displays.
  • Track campaign performance via key metrics such as engagement, product uptake, and lead generation; work with Analytics Team to refine marketing activities.
  • Assist in tracking campaign budgets, monitor spending, and prepare budget reports.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • 4–5 years of experience in Marketing, Advertising, and Media (incl. digital), with 2–4 years in campaign management within financial services or retail sector.
  • Experience working with advertising agencies and coordinating cross‑functional marketing projects.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels (social media, email, web) and content creation.
  • Ability to manage campaign timelines and ensure smooth execution across teams and vendors.
  • Analytical skills: track campaign performance, analyze data, and report results.
  • Project management skills: strong organization, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; effective across teams and external partners.
  • Collaboration mindset with proactive, hands‑on problem‑solving.
