A dynamic tech company is seeking a Marketing Ops and Hubspot Strategist to manage their marketing automation and strategy. Responsible for optimizing lead management and supporting campaign execution, you will play a key role in data-driven decisions within a collaborative team. Candidates must have over 5 years of experience in HubSpot administration and a strong proficiency in marketing technologies. This full-time remote role is open to residents of the Republic of South Africa.
Job Title: Netstock Marketing Ops and Hubspot Strategist

As Netstock's Marketing Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing our marketing automation tool and strategy, its integration to Salesforce, and other marketing technologies in our tech stack.
You will play a key role in optimizing lead management processes, supporting campaign execution, and enabling data‑driven decisions through system configuration and reporting.
This role requires a strategic thinker with hands‑on technical skills and a collaborative mindset.
Serve as the primary administrator for our HubSpot enterprise account, across Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, Service Hub, Content Hub, and Operations Hub.
Own the overall architecture, configuration, and optimization of the HubSpot platform to support marketing, sales, and service initiatives.
Design, build, and maintain complex workflows, automation, and data flows to support demand generation, customer engagement, and service operations.
Own and implement Netstock's email program strategy across all audiences, including creation of emails in collaboration with the content and creative team.
Own and implement form and workflow processes for lead assignment across territories.
Manage user roles, permissions, and training to ensure consistent and effective platform usage across teams.
Maintain best practices for campaign setup, lead management, and CRM hygiene within HubSpot.
Conduct regular audits of data and workflows to maintain data accuracy and improve system efficiency.
Train and support marketing and sales teams on HubSpot usage and adoption.
Lead the integration of HubSpot with Salesforce and other marketing technologies.
Implement reporting and attribution tools as required.
Collaborate with the Salesforce team to ensure seamless lead and opportunity management between HubSpot and Salesforce.
Maintain and troubleshoot third‑party integrations (e.g., analytics, webinar platforms, ABM tools).
Optimize marketing automation workflows and data flows between systems.
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
Develop and maintain scalable marketing automation strategies that align with business goals.
Develop dashboards and reports in HubSpot to measure campaign performance.
Manage external reporting sources, e.g., attribution tools.
Analyze data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for marketing and sales alignment.
Own A/B testing in email programs, landing pages, etc., and report on performance on a frequent basis.
Monitor and report on key KPIs to improve marketing effectiveness and ROI.
Support sales and marketing reporting by maintaining weekly reporting tracking performance by source.
Partner with our VP of Sales Ops on reporting and data projects.
Partner with sales, marketing, and operations teams to support demand‑generation initiatives.
Assist in campaign planning and execution by ensuring technical systems are aligned.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve marketing operations processes and technology stack utilization.
Experience : 5+ years of experience in HubSpot administration and marketing operations. This is a non‑negotiable.
Technical Skills : Extensive proficiency in the HubSpot ecosystem in the Enterprise Suite; Proficiency in Salesforce; Strong understanding of HubSpot integrations and lead management workflows; Experience with marketing technology stacks and integrations; Proficiency in Looker Studio and data reporting tools; Strong Excel skills.
Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA).
Analytical Skills : Ability to build dashboards, generate reports, and provide data‑driven insights.
Soft Skills : Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
