Responsibilities
- Lead the marketing department in developing and executing strategic marketing plans that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
- Manage budgets, oversee campaigns, and align marketing efforts with business objectives to strengthen the organization’s market position.
- Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies to strengthen brand positioning and market share.
- Convert approved marketing plans and strategies into feasible, workable project plans.
- Plan and oversee marketing campaigns, promotions, events, and digital initiatives that resonate with target customers.
- Conduct market research to understand consumer preferences, trends, and competitor activities.
- Build strategic partnerships to enhance brand exposure and market reach.
- Lead digital marketing initiatives including social media, e‑commerce, and online customer engagement.
- Optimize in‑store marketing, visual merchandising, and customer experience to grow brand equity.
- Monitor marketing ROI and continuously refine campaigns for effectiveness.
- Provide creative direction for major brand and marketing initiatives, including product launches, growth campaigns, events, and brand awareness efforts.
- Develop the brand identity, core brand assets, and design systems.
- Collaborate with the content/copywriting team to craft messaging aligned with tone of voice and campaign objectives.
- Work side‑with the video team to shape storytelling concepts and branded video content.
- Manage and collaborate with external creative agencies and partners.
- Optimize workflow processes to ensure campaign deadlines are met.
- Contribute to media strategy, planning and best practice across all campaigns.
- Align with the sales department to drive sales objectives across customer segments.
- Develop new business opportunities and explore expansion into new markets.
- Manage key client relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Report weekly, monthly and quarterly on marketing metrics.
- Participate in health and safety forums, attend relevant training/programmes, and report all safety incidents.
- Ensure overall compliance with relevant procedures and policies.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to team members.
- Ensure appropriate allocation of resources and succession planning.
Qualifications and Experience
- Business or marketing‑related degree or equivalent professional qualification.
- 8 years of Sales & Marketing experience with at least 4 years in managerial role in FMCG.
- Proven experience in managing creative teams.
- Conceptual creative development across design/art direction, copy and content.
- Demonstrated experience in social media and e‑commerce.
