About the Role

They are looking for a strategic and hands-on Marketing Manager to lead and implement national marketing campaigns, while providing support and direction to a team of 8 sales representatives across the country. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, product-driven environment and is passionate about brand building in the pet industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, print, trade, events)
  • Collaborate closely with sales teams to drive in-market campaign effectiveness
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to boost product visibility and brand equity
  • Manage marketing budgets, track ROI, and report on campaign performance
  • Oversee the production of promotional materials and content in line with brand standards
  • Work with creative teams and external agencies to bring campaigns to life
  • Stay on top of market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity
  • Support the 8-person sales team with tools, messaging, and campaign alignment


Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a marketing management role
  • BCom in Marketing
  • Experience in FMCG, pet care, or a product-based B2C environment preferred
  • Strong campaign and brand management skills
  • Experience managing or supporting field sales teams
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management abilities
  • Solid understanding of marketing channels (including digital, retail, and trade marketing)
  • Passion for animals and knowledge of the pet industry is a plus
  • Fluent in Afrikaans
