Job description

We are looking for an ambitious Marketing professional to take the lead on Kaspersky’s marketing initiatives across Africa.

In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Head of Marketing META and be the driving force behind shaping and executing impactful marketing strategies that accelerate business growth in the region. You’ll have the opportunity to develop and lead end-to-end campaigns, elevate brand presence, and make a real impact while working in full alignment with Kaspersky’s global marketing vision for Africa.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead communications with event organizers in the Africa;
  • Negotiate desired activities in line with Kaspersky priorities;
  • Manage event activity (physical and virtual) from A – Z;
  • Managing third party agencies;
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders, vendors, partners and agencies to ensure flawless execution of activity and plans;
  • Manage, administer, track and provide reports on partner MDF (Co-op) programs and activities, ensuring the utilization of funds is optimized (includes monitoring the costs, proof of performance, and ROI, ensuring the necessary information are included in CRM systems);
  • Budget management (Own the Africa marketing budget);
  • Measure, track and provide analysis on marketing activities using existing tools with defined KPIs & metrics to ensure optimization of budget and resources;
  • Distribute communication to customers and prospects through CRM;
  • Work hand in hand with the regions account managers to ensure their requirements are met and activity is run in line with their expectations;
  • Plan, develop and execute all aspects of partner marketing program, working with partners, Kaspersky channel sales and marketing teams (META) in Africa;
  • Develop and execute marketing programs and plans that focus on new customer acquisition and renewals through partners’ customer base.;
  • Develop programs and initiatives to drive awareness among the existing and new partners, and drive partner recruitment in new and existing market segment;
  • Own and manage the integrated channel communications to the partner base in Africa;
  • Develop and manage partner engagement activities effectively and efficiently for channel partners and distributors in Africa;
  • Amplify Africa localized partner marketing campaigns and launches, to reach the targeted partners. Ensure partners receive the communication pack to run demand generation and marketing activities to drive Kaspersky business;
  • Monitor campaign adoption with Africa partners and drive effective results.

Profile & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Business Degree required, MBA or advanced degree preferred;
  • English on Upper-Intermediate or above;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B event driven marketing, preferably in the Africa;
  • Proven experience in developing and managing event organizer relationships;
  • Strong project management and organization skills
  • Strong operational aptitude – demonstrate the ability to set up or streamline processes, aligning with the organization and business goals;
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Marketing Analytics;
  • SFDC, Axapta and Marketo Knowledge preferred;
  • Able to plan strategically and willing to be hands-on at the execution level;
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, collaborative, responsive, team player
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally and cross-regionally ability in a fast paced, high-energy environment;
  • Proven experience in managing multiple stakeholders across different teams and markets, in multi-faceted campaigns and events. Able to multi-task with several projects simultaneously;
