Position Summary
The Marketing Coordinator will support our expanding marketing efforts and build a robust marketing department from the ground up. This entry‑level role offers significant growth and development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness and engagement through social media personalities and content creators.
- Manage and coordinate the online Shopify store, ensuring product listings, promotions, and customer experience are optimal.
- Liaise with e‑commerce marketplaces such as Takealot and Amazon to support product listings, promotions, and operational needs.
- Collaborate closely with the web development team to maintain and optimize the company website and digital presence.
- Work with the social media team to schedule content, monitor engagement, and support digital marketing initiatives.
- Coordinate with creative agencies and digital marketing agencies on campaign execution, branding, and promotional materials.
- Oversee the creation, distribution, and tracking of marketing materials for the AcquaBox distributor network to support sales efforts.
- Support marketing campaign execution, including campaign data tracking, event coordination, and sales support activities.
- Assist with market research, competitor analysis, and performance reporting to provide actionable insights.
- Maintain marketing databases, inventory of promotional materials, and internal communication related to marketing activities.
- Monitor and report on digital analytics (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, etc.).
- Provide basic community management by monitoring social media queries and engaging with followers.
Qualifications and Skills
- Matric plus a relevant diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration preferred.
- 0–2 years of marketing experience; internships or work placements advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in design, digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and e‑commerce management (Shopify experience a plus).
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
- Self‑motivated with a keen interest in growing a career in marketing.
- Creative thinker with a proactive, problem‑solving attitude.
