Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist to join our Sandton team. In a hybrid setup, you will develop strategic communication plans to boost brand awareness and engage target audiences, delivering compelling messages across PR, digital, and print channels.

You will craft press releases, blogs, website copy, brochures, and presentations, manage social media with consistent branding, and collaborate with designers and vendors to produce impactful collateral.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Marketing Communications Specialist or similar role.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Experience with social media management and content creation.
• Familiarity with PR practices and media relations.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated marketing communication strategies across channels including PR, social media, email, and advertising.
• Create persuasive content for press releases, blogs, website copy, brochures, and presentations.
• Manage social media channels with consistent brand messaging and active engagement.
• Coordinate production of marketing collateral with designers and external vendors.
