Job Description: Marketing Assistant (with Social Media & Graphic Design Expertise)

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly capable and adaptable Marketing Assistant to provide comprehensive support to the National Marketing Manager ensuring the continuity of marketing operations and maintaining brand standards during periods of travel. This role also includes secondary responsibilities in social media marketing and graphic design making it ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced creative environment and enjoys both strategic and hands‑on work.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Support
- Assist with planning and execution of marketing campaigns and activations
- Visit client locations to deliver materials, assist with visual merchandising, and maintain relationships
- Coordinate and assist with event planning, setup, and logistics
- Capture photography and content at events for marketing use
- Book appointments and manage scheduling with clients and service providers
- Source and obtain quotes from vendors and suppliers
- Conduct local purchasing of marketing materials and supplies
- Represent the brand professionally during client visits and public engagements
Social Media Marketing
- Manage and grow social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
- Plan and execute paid media campaigns (Meta Ads, Google Ads)
- Create engaging content to boost organic growth and audience interaction
- Monitor and analyse performance metrics to optimise campaigns
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and identity across platforms
Graphic Design
- Design and produce marketing materials including window displays and signage
- Pamphlets, brochures and newsletters
- Social media graphics and promotional items
- Ensure high‑quality visual output aligned with brand standards
- Collaborate with the marketing team on creative concepts and layouts
Requirements
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and after‑hours, with availability for on‑call duties when required
- Experience in marketing coordination, social media management and graphic design
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Strong understanding of layout, typography and print production
- Familiarity with paid media strategy and audience targeting
- Excellent communication, time management and multitasking skills
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel locally for client visits and events
- Ability to work independently and represent the brand with professionalism
