  • Conduct cold calling and follow-ups with leads.
  • Liaise with property developers and organize meetings.
  • Maintain and update customer databases and prepare reports.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis.

Marketing Assistant

Location

Cape Town, South Africa (Remote – must be able to attend in-person team sessions approx. 2x per month)

We are a leading independent Managing Agent with over 22 years of experience in property management, currently managing a portfolio of more than 9,000 units.

With a reputation for professionalism and growth driven by service excellence, we are expanding our Business Development Team and are looking for a dynamic and proactive Marketing Assistant to join us.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Assistant will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of the Business Development Team. This is not your average assistant position — we're looking for someone with a strong marketing foundation, creative flair, and the drive to take ownership of projects across marketing and client communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Business Development Team with daily administrative and operational tasks
  • Assist in developing and executing marketing plans, advertising, and direct marketing campaigns
  • Create and schedule engaging social media content across platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter)
  • Design marketing collateral such as brochures, presentations, and tenders using Canva
  • Proofread and write creative copy for various marketing channels
  • Conduct cold calling and follow-ups with leads
  • Liaise with property developers, freeholders, and leaseholders; organise and schedule meetings
  • Maintain and update customer databases and prepare reports
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis
  • Assist in managing online reviews and customer feedback
Experience & Qualifications

Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a marketing or business development support role. Relevant marketing qualification or degree.

Salary and Benefits

R25, per month (gross salary)

15 days annual leave (plus South African public holidays)

Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00 (SA time)

Remote work with monthly in-person sessions in Cape Town

Legal Authorization

Candidates must have legal authorization to work in South Africa.
