Job summary

Red Ember Recruitment is recruiting for a Marketing Assistant for our client in Pretoria. The role involves supporting channel marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, engagement and lead generation, and assisting with client engagement across multiple platforms.

Ideal candidates are recent graduates with a B. Com Marketing or similar qualification, with strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office. Internship exposure is advantageous but not required.

Qualifications

• BCom Marketing degree (or similar) from a reputable institution.
• Recent graduate or up to 1 year of experience in a marketing assistant role.
• Internships or exposure to marketing activities advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support channel marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, engagement and lead generation.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• B. Com Marketing degree (or a similar relevant qualification) from a reputable institution.
• Minimum Required Experience
• Recent graduate, or up to 1 year of experience in a similar marketing assistant role. Prior internships or exposure to marketing-related activities will be advantageous but are not required.

Required Skills & Attributes

• Excellent communication skills (both written and oral), with strong attention to detail.
• Technology savvy, with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and familiarity with social media platforms.
• A proven appetite for AI will be an advantage.
• A strong ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
