One of our clients based in Epping, FMCG company is looking for a Marketing Assistant to join their company. They manage the full go-to-market cycle from brand strategy to retail execution, with a growing footprint in wholesale, retail, and pharmacy channels.
Role Purpose
Support the Marketing Manager across day-to-day brand activity, content production, in-store execution, events, and marketing admin. Keep projects moving, ensure assets are accurate and on time, and help deliver campaigns that drive sales and visibility.
Required Skills and Experience
- 1–2 years in FMCG marketing, brand, social, or agency account support
- Strong organisation and follow-through across multiple projects
- Confident writer for social captions and basic product copy
- Comfortable on set for simple UGC or content shoots
- Proficient in: Google Workspace, Excel or Sheets, Canva, basic Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop, Meta Business Suite, TikTok
- Advantage: Squarespace updates, basic video editing, retail activation experience
- Driver's license is a must
Key Responsibilities
Campaign support
- Assist with campaign timelines, status trackers, and weekly updates
- Brief designers and suppliers and follow up on deliverables
- Prepare presentations, moodboards, and simple mockups
Content and social
- Help build monthly content calendars across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Draft captions, source imagery, and schedule posts in Meta Business Suite
- Coordinate basic photography and short-form video shoots
- Community management and basic performance reporting
Retail and activations
- Coordinate POS and FSU orders, print checks, barcodes, and deliveries
- Support in-store activations, sampling days, and events scheduling
- Prepare activation kits, staff rosters, and prize logistics
- Capture results, photos, and post-event reports
Influencers and partnerships
- Build and maintain creator lists
- Send PR drops and track content deadlines
- Process usage approvals and collect links for reporting
Web and listings
- Update product info, images, and copy on the Company and brand websites
- Keep retailer listing sheets and product catalogues current
Administration
- Raise POs, reconcile supplier invoices, and update budget trackers
- Maintain the marketing stock register by brand
- File assets, artwork, and approvals in shared drives

Working Conditions
- On‑site in Epping with occasional travel to stores, events, and shoots
