They are at the cutting edge of precision analytics, seeking a Senior Commercial Marketing Analyst to own and optimize the entire customer acquisition and conversion funnel.

This is a pivotal, high-impact role where the analyst will leverage data science, machine learning, and deep-dive analytics to directly influence business profitability and growth. The successful candidate won't just report on marketing performance - they'll be instrumental in developing and implementing the predictive models that shape the company's marketing spend, personalization strategy, and overall customer experience.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Funnel Analysis & Optimization: Analyse the entire customer journey, from first touchpoint to loan funding, to identify key customer segments, predict drop‑off points, and recommend optimisations.
  • Predictive Modelling: Develop and deploy machine learning models to predict customer intent, forecast conversion probabilities, and optimize marketing spend for maximum efficiency.
  • Customer Acquisition & Attribution: Design and implement robust marketing attribution models to accurately track the effectiveness and ROI of all acquisition channels (e.g., organic, paid, social, referral).
  • Experimentation and CRO: Lead A/B testing and multivariate analysis initiatives to continuously improve user experience, conversion rates (CRO - Conversion Rate Optimisation), and funnel personalisation.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Use tools like SQL to analyse large datasets and build real‑time dashboards for monitoring key funnel performance metrics using tools like Tableau or Redash.
  • Cross‑Functional Alignment: Work closely with the digital marketing, product, and other teams to align strategies, improve customer targeting and personalisation, and embed data‑driven insights into the customer journey.
  • Strategic Development: Develop predictive models for lead scoring and loan eligibility likelihood to enhance decision‑making across the business.
Requirements
  • Education: A Degree in a relevant field
  • Experience: 3+ years of hands‑on experience in marketing analytics
  • Analytics Tools: Essential experience with digital marketing analytics and tracking, including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, as well as marketing attribution.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable working with data (SQL, Python, or R experience is a plus, but not required to be an expert).
  • Modelling Expertise: Knowledge of and practical experience with machine learning techniques (regression, clustering, classification) specifically for funnel optimisation.
  • Optimization Skills: Expertise in A/B testing methodologies and CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation).
  • Data Visualization: Background in data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Redash, or Looker for building monitoring dashboards and generating insights.
  • Domain Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of the customer acquisition and conversion lifecycle in an online business.
