Responsibilities
Marketing Analyst Duties:
- Analyze marketing and campaign performance across multiple channels including social media, programming, PPC, SEO, and content marketing.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that track KPIs such as acquisition cost, conversion rates, engagement, retention, and ROI.
- Identify trends and deliver insights that improve targeting, segmentation, and campaign efficiency.
- Map and analyze player journeys from acquisition through retention and reactivation.
- Identify behavioral trends, churn risks, and opportunities for cross-sell or upsell.
- Support CRM and CX teams with insights into player segmentation and engagement drivers.
- Partner with Brand and Media Strategy teams to inform creative direction and audience targeting using data insights.
- Collaborate with Digital Marketing to test and optimize landing pages, ad placements, and creative strategies.
- Work with the Customer Experience team to identify and resolve user journey pain points.
- Align with the Business Intelligence (BI) team to integrate marketing data sources and maintain unified, consistent reporting dashboards.
- Ensure data quality, completeness, and accuracy across all marketing systems and reports.
- Implement validation checks and troubleshoot discrepancies across analytics tools (Google Analytics, CRM, media platforms, etc.).
- Ensure data governance and compliance (e.g., GDPR, POPIA) are upheld across marketing systems.
- Produce and distribute weekly, monthly, and quarterly marketing performance reports for stakeholders and leadership.
- Translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations for non-technical audiences.
- Deliver insights that directly impact marketing strategies, investment decisions, and business performance outcomes.
- Continuously identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and reporting efficiency.

Compliance, Risk, and Quality
- Ensure accuracy, reliability, and consistency in all marketing reporting and data outputs.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and data governance standards.
- Work with BI and Data Governance teams to ensure all analytics adhere to privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, POPIA).
- Ensure logical saving and documentation of reports, dashboards, insights, and datasets.
- Perform regular data integrity checks and resolve discrepancies across platforms (CRM, GA4, and paid media).
- Ensure alignment of KPIs with company‑wide reporting frameworks.
Growth and New Markets/Products
- Stay abreast of marketing analytics trends, new technologies, and measurement methodologies.
- Attend relevant workshops and seminars to build technical knowledge and professional networks.
- Research competitor activity and emerging market opportunities to support marketing innovation.
- Contribute to the identification of new tools, platforms, or processes that enhance analytics capabilities.
- Support product innovation and customer insights initiatives to enhance Hollywoodbets’ overall offering.
- Provide insights that contribute to achieving short, medium, and long‑term strategic goals.
- Any ad hoc tasks in the Marketing & Digital Marketing or Analytics space.
Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Marketing or Relevant Field
- 3+ Years Marketing, Media and/or Data Analytics
- Google Analytics/SQL/BI Tools
- CRM Platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) Programmatic
- SEO, PPC, and Paid Social Channels (Advantageous)
