Situated in the southern suburbs of Cape Town, Michael Oak Waldorf School is a beautiful small school community with children from nursery to matric. Michael Oak seeks to awaken the whole child towards creative responsibility and to develop confident, balanced individuals empowered to work with the challenges of today and tomorrow.

We are seeking candidates for the position of:

The Marketing Administrator plays a key role in implementing the school’s internal and external marketing, communications and events strategy. This part-time role is both creative and operational, balancing hands‑on content creation with planning and coordination. This role also contributes to the development of a cohesive school brand identity and community involvement to increase the school’s visibility in the broader community and promote school‑wide growth.

Candidate Requirements

  • Hold a tertiary qualification in Marketing or a related field.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in marketing, communications, or brand administration (preferably in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment).
  • Experience in marketing within a school environment or educational institution will be highly advantageous.
  • Be energetic, proactive and highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Be creative, adaptable and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Have proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, video and content creation
