Job summary

A leading retail group in fuel is seeking an energetic Marketer (Fuel & Lubricants) to join its Northern Cape distribution centre. This dynamic sales and marketing position focuses on acquiring new customers and enhancing the fuel and lubricants portfolio. Qualified candidates need at least 4 years of relevant experience, excellent communication and negotiation skills, along with a valid driver's licence. This role offers a competitive salary within the range of R30,000 to R35,000 CTC per month.

A leading, forward‑thinking retail group operating in fuel sectors is seeking an energetic Marketer (Fuel & Lubricants) to join its Northern Cape Fuel Distribution Centre. This is a dynamic, hands‑on sales and marketing position focused on growing the fuel and lubricants portfolio across the region.

Requirements
  • Grade 12 complemented by relevant in‑house sales training or an NQF5 Diploma.
  • 4+ years of experience in a related sales/marketing environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable own transport (non‑negotiable).
Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify, pursue, and acquire new fuel and lubricant customers through continuous market scanning and engagement.
  • Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive Fuel & Lubricants CRM plan to ensure an accurate, up‑to‑date customer database.
  • Promote lubrication services, conduct site inspections and equipment surveys, and collaborate with suppliers to offer customised solutions.
  • Represent the fuel and lubricants division at farmer/producer events and industry engagements.
  • Support demand forecasting, ensure effective execution of supplier service agreements, and maintain accurate reporting and administrative records on relevant systems.
  • Conduct SHEQ‑related checks and ensure all site fuel equipment inspections are completed and compliant.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify gaps and new business opportunities.
  • Leverage digital tools and platforms to enhance customer experience and streamline internal processes.
