Communicate Recruitment is seeking a Murex Specialist in Johannesburg, a hybrid role shaping the full trade lifecycle across Capital Markets, Banking and Treasury. You will tailor Murex solutions, coordinate MX TEST, and drive platform enhancements with vendors and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in financial markets systems, deep Murex knowledge, and a strong quantitative background. This role offers a hybrid work setup and exposure to tier-one trading platforms.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related quantitative discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and supporting Financial Markets systems with Murex/MX TEST.
• Deep understanding of Capital Markets products and the complete trade lifecycle across Derivatives, IRs, Money Markets, and Fixed Income.
• Proven proficiency across core Murex modules including Front Office Configuration, Sensitivities, Risk, P/L Analysis, Pre-Trade Rules, and Pricing Template setup.

Responsabilidades

• Gather requirements from traders, perform impact analyses, and configure bespoke Murex solutions (Risk, P/L, Pricing, Workflows).
• Coordinate and lead MX TEST, testing phases to ensure delivery matches specifications.
• Collaborate with internal tech teams and Murex vendor to resolve production incidents and deploy enhancements.
• Build strong relationships across business units to manage delivery expectations and complex requirements.

We are seeking a high-caliber Murex Specialist to champion the continuous development, optimization, and evolution of our Murex Platform across Capital Markets, Banking, and Treasury business units.

Key Responsibilities

• Analysis & Solution Development: Gather requirements directly from traders, conduct impact analyses, and configure bespoke solutions within the Murex platform covering Risk, PnL, Pricing, and Workflows.
• Testing & Implementation: Coordinate and lead comprehensive testing phases (including MX TEST) to ensure delivered solutions match exact functional specifications.
• Service Excellence: Partner with internal technical teams and the Murex vendor to rapidly resolve critical production incidents and deploy long-term platform enhancements.
• Stakeholder Management: Build strong collaborative relationships across business units, successfully managing delivery expectations and navigating complex requirements.

What You Bring

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline. An ACI Dealing Certificate is a strong plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience implementing, configuring, and supporting Financial Markets systems, with specialized expertise in Murex and/or MX TEST.
• Functional Expertise: Deep understanding of Capital Markets products and the complete trade lifecycle across Derivatives, Interest Rates, Money Markets, and Fixed Income.
• Technical Mastery: Proven proficiency across core Murex modules, including Front Office Configuration, Sensitivities, Risk, P&L Analysis, Pre-Trade Rules, and Pricing Template setup.
