Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Marine Biology, Ecology, Zoology, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated experience in marine fieldwork, including diving certifications and survey techniques.
• Proficiency in laboratory techniques for sample processing, identification, and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of marine ecosystems, conservation principles, and research methodologies.
• Excellent observational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in challenging field conditions.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting and team collaboration in Mossel Bay.
