Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul of marine mechanical and auxiliary systems
  • Conduct inspections and diagnostics on propulsion and auxiliary systems
  • Supervise and support technical teams during dry dock and onboard projects
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures in all operations
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and project managers on technical requirements
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation following company and regulatory standards
Minimum Requirements
  • National Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering or equivalent trade qualification
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a marine engineering environment (preferably ship repair or dry dock operations)
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, pumps, compressors, and auxiliary systems
  • Valid SAMSA Marine Engineering Certificate or equivalent (advantageous)
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
