Job summary

Scitech Placements seeks a Commercial Manager for a manufacturing client in Cape Town. The role focuses on financial control, budgeting, forecasting and procurement, with Syspro as the ERP platform.

You will report to management and Head Office, ensuring accurate costing and stock control in a dynamic production environment. The ideal candidate has a finance degree, advanced Excel, and proven budgeting/forecasting experience, plus manufacturing exposure and Cape Town residency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting or Economics.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required.
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting is essential.
• Manufacturing industry experience is essential.
• Candidate must already reside in Cape Town.

Responsibilities

• Review balance sheet reconciliations and approve journals.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and financial outlooks.
• Report operational and financial performance to management and Head Office.
• Manage procurement of raw materials, consumables and maintenance equipment.
• Oversee stock control, monthly stock takes and inventory reconciliation.
• Monitor transport costs, material waste and product costing.
• Manage debtors, customer accounts and credit control.
• Maintain and update BOMs and pricing within Syspro.
