An innovative service provider specialising in the perishable products industry, is seeking a values-driven Managing Director to lead the business from their head office in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.

This is a key leadership role responsible for driving sustainable business performance, strengthening global partnerships and ensuring operational excellence across all functions. The ideal candidate is a people-focused, values-led leader with strong strategic insight, and the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships both within the business and with external stakeholders such as producers and clients.

Key responsibilities
  • Executing the strategy as set in conjunction with the Board of Directors
  • Leading cross-functional teams and overseeing global logistics operations
  • Managing financial performance
  • Building and maintaining client, producer, stakeholder relationships
  • Driving innovation and continuous operational improvement
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance and effective risk management
  • All other task related to the role will be discussed during the interview
