About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead technical strategy, delivery, and team development across multiple projects in the CEMEA region. This role combines technical leadership, people management, and operational excellence to build a scalable, high‑performing engineering hub.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and implement technical strategy for multiple delivery teams.
  • Drive engineering best practices, architecture, and quality standards.
  • Ensure alignment with global initiatives and modern frameworks.
  • Oversee delivery across diverse projects and regions.
  • Recruit and develop diverse technical talent.
  • Build and manage engineering teams to meet regional demand.
  • Support career growth, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance culture.
  • Align team capacity with project roadmaps and timelines.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Product, Architecture, DevOps).
  • Manage risks, communication, and delivery predictability.
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational effectiveness.
  • Establish a scalable engineering hub in South Africa.
  • Improve delivery predictability, quality, and cost efficiency.
  • Support long-term growth across France, Austria, South Africa, and MENA.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years in software development.
  • 2+ years in engineering leadership or management.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience with system architecture, code reviews, and test‑driven development.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, .NET, SQL).
  • Familiarity with project planning tools and resource models.
  • Ability to lead complex projects and manage budgets effectively.
