Job description

We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager for Military and Aerospace components to work out of a home office in our Northwest Region (WA, OR, Northern CA, ID, NV, MT, UT, CO).

Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the field sales team
  • Submit necessary business reports on regional activity
  • Manage a 12-month forecast and design pipeline
  • Work with business unit leadership to drive regional engagement and ensure we sell the entire portfolio of connectors, cables, and component assemblies to the Military and Aerospace.
  • Assist the field sales team in driving factory needs for their customers.
  • Periodically present regional activity and performance to upper management.
  • Coach individual team members to further their effectiveness as account managers, grow their pipeline of opportunities, and develop strategies to win new business.
  • Be involved in day-to-day activities as required.
  • Provide employee performance feedback.
  • Proactively pursue product training and periodic factory visits.
  • Develop and foster key relationships with customer management within the region.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing, or business.
  • Six years of direct field sales experience or marketing experience.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience is a plus.
  • Territory travel is required.
  • A US Citizen living in the Northwest US region.
