Job description
Purpose Of The Job

To manage our facilities maintenance services, ensuring optimal building equipment performance, compliance and cost effectiveness. Responsibilities include ensuring preventative maintenance, managing the maintenance team, driving continuous improvement to reduce possible downtime and to enhance building operations.

The role reports to the Manager: Security Administration and Facilities Business Unit.

Key Performance Areas
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of preventative facilities management strategies, policies and procedures;
  • Responsible for the management of preventative maintenance related facilities services, including data centre facilities management;
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor maintenance, repairs, and refurbishment projects;
  • Responsible for the effective functioning of all Building Management Systems;
  • Manage helpdesk and liaison with departments;
  • Provide input into budget requirements and management of the Security and Facilities Business Unit;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal clients as well as external contractors and service providers;
  • Prepare monthly reports on facility performance, maintenance schedules, and incident reports; and
  • Manage the development and performance of direct reports, providing technical support and guiding them towards achievement of goals.
