Job description

Bible Media is a Christian Media Ministry, producing and providing content to inspire the Christian Way. The organisation underwent a process of digital transformation and is currently building a more comprehensive digital footprint. A dynamic career opportunity currently exists for a self‑motivated and energetic individual to create and manage innovative digital and print publications in line with the organisation's purpose, while taking into account economic sustainability and the needs of the target market.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic management and positioning of Bible Media’s publications and products (e.g. Lig, Kerkbode, Jeugfokus, Bybelkor, etc.)
  • Development and implementation of a digital strategy that expands, compliments and supports the reach and impact of Bible Media’s content
  • Research, market development and product innovation in order to stay up to date with customer needs and the relevance of existing publications
  • Manage budgets of publications and digital products and ensure financial sustainability
  • Personnel management of the Content Team
  • Develop and manage integrated marketing and communication for all Bible Media’s products
  • Building and maintaining partnerships with relevant organisations and groups (churches, synods, ministers, etc.)
Requirements
  • Relevant postgraduate qualification
  • In‑depth knowledge / experience of digital media, marketing, sales, and financial management
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience on a managerial level
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a publication environment
  • Knowledge of applicable legislation and digital trends
  • Leadership and management skills
  • Planned and systematic way of working
  • Innovative thinking and ability to take initiative
  • Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities
