Manager, Creative - Art (Bangkok-based, relocation provided)

The role is based in Bangkok with relocation support.

About the Role

As a Creative Manager – Art you will develop bold concepts, refine visual storytelling, and mentor designers across touchpoints.

You’ll partner with copy and production teams to deliver visually stunning, culturally resonant work while balancing hands‑on design with team leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with Creative Managers to lead art direction and design vision across campaigns and creatives.
  • Drive development of design concepts for campaigns and creatives including storyboards, online ads, and visual systems.
  • Manage a team of visual designers and collaborate with fellow Creative Managers to elevate craftsmanship and pursue excellence.
  • Generate fresh, innovative ideas for digital, social, print, and OOH campaigns.
  • Execute campaigns and assist with hand‑on art direction and design (50%) while supervising team projects (50%) to ensure craft and detail.
  • Direct designers on fundamental design rules for strong visual storytelling.
  • Present creative concepts and design rationale confidently to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with Creative Managers, Brand Management, and other stakeholders to align creative solutions with objectives and brand strategy.
  • Translate project requirements into visually compelling outcomes, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Provide clear design feedback and guidance on shared projects.
  • Assist in the career development and training of designers, fostering a positive, collaborative culture.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience, including minimum 5 years as an Art Director in an agency or in‑house setting.
  • Proficient with industry‑standard tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Figma.
  • Significant working knowledge of Gen AI tools for creative production.
  • Portfolio showcasing campaigns, digital assets, logos, video ads, and graphic layouts.
  • Deep understanding of typography, layout, color, art direction, and emerging design trends.
  • Experience across digital, social, and traditional media.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills to articulate creative ideas and rationale.
  • Excellent listening, question‑asking, and path‑charting abilities to complete projects.
  • Resourceful, organized, detail‑oriented, and a self‑starting multi‑tasker capable of meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent English language skills.
Nice to Have
  • Motion design and animation skills.
  • Social media content creation experience.
  • Knowledge of UX / UI design.
