SUMMARY :

The Construction Manager (CM) will be responsible for the management of the project execution activities of the project. The CM will be required to ensure effective utilization of site resources. The incumbent’s main duties are to ensure effective project execution, according to specification and SHEQ requirements, and within the allocated timeframes and budgets provided by the Project Manager (PM).

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS :
Minimum Education :
  • Grade 12 and / N6 Mechanical / Electrical or Higher.
Additional Qualifications :
  • Registered as a Professional Construction Manager (Pr.CM) at SACPCMP,
  • Competency in NEC / FIDIC / JBCC contracts,
  • Legal Liability,HIRA,IRCON,First Aid Level 2,
  • Environmental Law,Construction Regulations,Scaffold Inspector,
  • C-Green [Rail Only] (Optional),
  • Working at Heights (Optional),
  • Eskom Dx & Tx Authorisation,
  • ISO 9001 – Internal Auditor (Optional)
