Qualifikationen

• Design and implement programs to assess and manage legal and regulatory compliance risks and uphold high ethical standards.
• Oversee and periodically review the Compliance Framework and Compliance Policy.
• Maintain FICA policies and risk management compliance programs.
• Monitor regulatory changes and keep the organisation informed and compliant.
• Provide advice to management and the Board on compliance and ethics matters.
• Produce periodic compliance and ethics reports to Exco and the Board.
• Manage the ethics function, develop ethics policies, train staff, and promote ethical conduct across the organisation.
• Supervise compliance personnel and manage budgets for the function.

Minimum Experience Required:

• Proficient knowledge and understanding of the legislation that governs PFMA Schedule 2 Public Entities.
• 10 years or more in Compliance and ethics.
• 5 years people management experience.
• Ability to work independently and engage effectively with employees and management at all levels.
• Ability to interpret legislative frameworks.
• Water sector and/or SOE exposure is advantageous
• The Ethics Institute supporter membership will be an added advantage.
