A leading financial institution in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced individual to manage the operational delivery of the attorney liaison function, ensuring adherence to policies and standards while providing world-class customer service. The ideal candidate has extensive banking knowledge and experience with stakeholder management. This full-time role does not offer remote work.

Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of experience in banking principles, procedures, processes, service and products.
  • 5-7 years of in-depth knowledge of the end-to-end bond registration process.
  • 5-7 years of strong understanding of banking regulations and compliance.

To oversee and manage the day‑to‑day operational delivery of the attorney liaison function guiding the attorney liaison deliverables ensuring world class customer service and adherence to the banks policies and standards to mitigate financial losses and risks to SBG.

  • 3‑4 years of experience in banking principles, procedures, processes, service and products and product knowledge
  • 3‑4 years of demonstrated ability to mitigate financial losses and risks through effective management of attorney liaison functions
  • 3‑4 years of experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • 3‑4 years of experience in managing a small team
  • 3‑4 years of proven track record of managing relationships with external legal firms and attorneys ensuring efficient and effective communication and collaboration
  • 5‑7 years of demonstrated experience and ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholder relationships to drive business operations
  • 5‑7 years of in‑depth knowledge of the end‑to‑end bond registration process—including pre‑grant processes, conclude and enable
  • 5‑7 years of strong understanding of banking regulations, compliance requirements and legal processes related to financial services
