Job summary

A financial services company based in Bloemfontein is looking for a skilled Manager / Accountant to oversee financial operations. My client is seeking a skilled and motivated Manager / Accountant to take charge of their financial operations. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of accounting experience, with SAIPA or SAICA registration preferred, and the ability to lead a small finance team with confidence and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle full accounting functions up to trial balance
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting
• VAT, PAYE, and statutory submissions
• Oversee daily finance and admin operations
• Liaise with external auditors, SARS, and internal stakeholders
• Enforce internal controls and ensure compliance

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance
• SAIPA or SAICA registered (preferred)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong working knowledge of Pastel, Sage, or Xero
• Excellent Excel skills and analytical thinking
• Strong organizational and leadership capabilities

Monday to Thursday : 07 : 30 – 16 : 30 | Friday : 07 : 30 – 13 : 30
