Responsibilities

  • Provide ad-hoc support to the Head of Finance and CFO.

We are seeking a Management Accountant Assistant, you’ll be responsible for producing accurate and insightful management information, supporting key finance processes, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Management Accounts

  • Preparation of monthly hub management accounts for review by the Head of Finance which includes profit & loss, balance sheets, prepayments and accruals, along with drafting journals for approval by the Head of Finance.

KPIs & Reporting

  • Supporting the Head of Finance with monthly KPI reporting to the UK Hub Support team, this would involve reporting such as headcount, staff utilisation calculations, work in progress (WIP) and debtors

Purchase Ledger Oversight

  • Overseeing the purchase ledger process from invoice upload and approval through to payment
  • Covering the full purchase ledger function during team absences

Operational & Admin Support

  • Assisting with the onboarding of new UK clients (including gatekeeping within Practice Engine, our practice management software)
  • Supporting Practice Engine administration which includes updating client detail, staff timesheet administration, and helping staff with day-to-day system queries

Additional Support

  • Assisting the Head of Finance and CFO with ad-hoc projects as required
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Demonstrated experience in a management accounts role or working within a fast-paced finance team
  • Ability to work to deadlines whilst maintaining multiple stakeholder relationships at any given time.
  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive mindset
  • Confident communicator, with the ability to form strong working relationships with UK colleagues via a remote work setting
  • A degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance is desirable, but not essential
