Job summary

Corteva Agriscience is offering an internship in the Breeding team focused on maize phenotyping. You will assist with planning, planting, data collection, and harvesting in field trials, gaining hands-on experience in agronomy and plant breeding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or Diploma in scientific related field, or 1–2 years industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Background in Agronomy and/or Plant Breeding.
• Ability to make timely decisions, assist to solve problems and build consensus.
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills for teamwork and building relationships.
• Ability to supervise.
• Proficiency in Office software (spreadsheets, email, calendar, presentations).
• Always comply with safety regulations and country laws.
• High workload with long hours and weekend work during seasonal peaks.
• Ability to work outside in all kinds of weather.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
