Job summary

Status Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Technician / Millwright for our client in Somerset West, Cape Town. Trade-tested Millwright with 3–5 years' FMCG maintenance experience and strong fault-finding abilities will maintain automated systems, 3-phase motors, VSDs, pneumatics and sensors. Shift work and weekends required; salary R35 000–R40 000 plus benefits.

Applicants should have a Trade-tested Millwright qualification, 3–5 years’ maintenance experience within an FMCG, food processing, or packaging environment, strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding abilities, and experience with automated systems, 3-phase motors, variable speed drives, pneumatic systems, and industrial sensors. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work rotational shifts and weekends.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Trade-tested Millwright.

• Experience working with:
• 3-phase motors.
