Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage maintenance activity.
• Manage morning meetings.
• Plan work per artisan and provide spares and additional manpower where necessary.
• Manage and keep stores including stock take supported by Buyer.
• Arrange for receiving of stock through Production Admin Clerk.
• Conduct housekeeping in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Drive all machine performance targets as set out by company.
• Report any defects to the Line Manager.

Skills

Good knowledge in overall maintenance processes and regulations

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Technically informed and ability to carry out and manage technical tasks

Quickly gain knowledge of all products and quantities

Health and Safety

Education

Grade 12 or equivalent literacy and numeric level

Trade or similar technical qualification

Basic Computer Literacy

Forklift (Level 3)

Fire fighting (Level 1)

Hazardous chemicals handling

Working on heights with fall protection
