Job summary

RCPM Industries is seeking a Maintenance Planner to schedule and optimize maintenance activities for our mining equipment fleet at sites across South Africa. You will work with maintenance teams to maximise equipment availability and reliability.

The role requires CMMS experience (SAP or Pragma), strong planning skills, and a background in mechanical or electrical engineering. A hands-on, safety-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• N6 or National Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with CMMS systems such as SAP or Pragma.
• Experience in mining or heavy-equipment maintenance.
• Strong planning and coordination skills.
• Good computer literacy and reporting capability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain planned maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate planned and corrective maintenance activities.
• Monitor maintenance backlogs and outstanding work orders.
• Coordinate critical spares and maintenance requirements with Stores.
• Maintain maintenance records and systems.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs and equipment availability.
• Prepare maintenance planning and performance reports.
