Duties and Responsibilities
- Managing and coordinating maintenance administration and maintenance program.
- Carrying out daily and random checks regarding stock control. (Parts)
- Overseeing maintenance, inspections and repairs of items that are issued to him / under his control.
- Managing day to day problems with maintenance employees.
- Ensuring all company control procedures are adhered too.
- Maintaining discipline in the workplace by way of the company’s Industrial Relations guidelines.
- Attending daily meetings with Site Manager to resolve day to day issues regarding maintenance.
- Attending and conduct daily meetings with maintenance team to resolve day to day issues regarding maintenance.
- Carrying out the relevant daily, weekly and monthly inspections and control parameters to ensure the quality of the product is maintained at all times.
- Time sheets are carefully managed.
- Ensure all document control, daily diaries, and all other site administrative practices are meticulously done including scope changes and all contract variances.
- Team effort and morale.
- Root cause analysis must be performed to find out the cause of breakdowns, and a COMPONENT FAILURE REGISTER must be compiled to assist in developing a preventative maintenance plan.
- Set up and maintain planning and measurement (Q.C.) systems and monitor compliance.
- Schedule maintenance on the crushing plant.
- Manage staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties.
Requirements
- Minimum Grade 12.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Crushing Plant Experience
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- A recognised Supervisory / Leadership Programme Certificate or studying towards one.
- HIRA Certificate, MHSA Certificate, Legal Liability Certificate, ICAM Certificate.
- Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment Certificate.
- HR related experience – Leave management; Time and Attendance; IR, etc.
- Basic communication skills (written and oral), a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a team.
- No criminal record.
- Be medically fit & able to pass a medical examination.
