• Excellent problem‑solving skills with a proactive approach.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a remote location.
• Valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventative maintenance schedules and respond to breakdowns.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.

Salary : R35000 month Negotiable DOE Live-In

Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking a Maintenance Manager for a distinguished luxury private game reserve located in Bela Bela. This role is perfect for a hands‑on professional with strong leadership capabilities and a passion for maintaining the highest standards in a remote hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all maintenance operations across the property including infrastructure, plumbing, electrical systems, vehicles and equipment
• Lead and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team
• Plan and execute preventative maintenance schedules and respond to breakdowns and repairs promptly
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards
• Liaise with other department heads to ensure minimal disruption to guest experience
• Maintain records of maintenance tasks, inventory levels and supplier relationships
• Provide regular reports on maintenance performance and ongoing projects

Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior maintenance role preferably within the hospitality or lodge industry
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and general repairs
