  • Develop, train, and facilitate maintenance personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with the preventive maintenance program.
  • Cultivate relationships with steel mill personnel and vendors.
  • Develop maintenance systems and monitor the department’s budget.

Job description

The Levy Group of Companies is seeking a Maintenance Manager to work at our Levy Brandenburg Mill Service location in Brandenburg, KY. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing the maintenance program for mobile equipment, plants, and facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Supports safety and environmental initiatives including employee safety engagement, regulatory compliance and related training
  • Develops, trains and facilitates a team of equipment and plant maintenance personnel
  • Coordinates teams to identify process improvements and to develop and document maintenance procedures
  • Ensures compliance with the preventive maintenance program
  • Cultivates relationships with steel mill personnel, vendors and other management personnel
  • Develops maintenance systems and processes
  • Develops and monitors the Maintenance Department’s budget and business plan
  • Responsible for developing, assessing and meeting KPIs
  • Runs KPI reports, analyzes data and utilizes information for better decision-making
  • Acts as project manager for significant repair, rebuild or installation activities
  • Evaluates feasibility of capital expenditures
  • Audits processes and inspects work as necessary
  • Provides reporting and recordkeeping as required
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned by manager
Skills
