Our client in the chemical manufacturing industry is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to support our production operations.

The ideal candidate has strong engineering skills, FMCG experience, and a hands‑on approach to maintenance and problem‑solving.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and execute Preventative Maintenance Schedule Service, repair, and install production machinery.
  • Oversee general building and production line maintenance.
  • Manage maintenance store, tools, and spares.
  • Conduct daily checks, line inspections, and attend breakdowns.
  • Complete weekly machine services and monthly stacker maintenance.
  • Liaise with contractors when repairs are required.
Qualifications
  • NQF Level years FMCG engineering experience.
  • Engineering Apprenticeship (Trade Test advantageous).
  • Fitting and turning, welding, boiler making, plumbing.
  • Instrumentation, PLC, and electrical repairs (COC-compliant).
