Job description

Our client is seeking a qualified and motivated Maintenance Fitter to join their Technical Services team.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with production departments on changeovers as per the production plan.
• Perform changeovers with minimal disruption to production.
• Set and maintain machines to ensure product quality and integrity.
• Attend to mechanical breakdowns and conduct minor repairs, complete maintenance request vouchers and job cards.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance in line with monthly schedules.
• Assist with building maintenance and repairs where necessary.
• Support semi-skilled artisans with fine equipment settings and repairs.
• Switch compressors and chillers on and off daily.
• Pile reports on defects, spares, and servicing needs.
• Ensure suppliers and contractors comply with company procedures and policies.
