Maintenance Engineer

Location: Isando - Johannesburg, ZA, 1600

Your areas of responsibility:

• Coordination of maintenance employees and contractors in the performance of maintenance tasks.
• Development and execution of Plant Maintenance strategy to ensure plant reliability, regulatory compliance and good quality manufacturing practices while maintaining safe working conditions.
• Appointment to GMR 2(7) and assist the Maintenance Manager in execution of legal compliance interventions.
• Support the production teams in delivery of the production plan, to ensure good quality products are delivered to the customer on time and in full.
• Lead problem solving efforts and Maintenance projects to improve plant performance.

Qualifications and skills we are looking for:

• Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering Degree (BSc, BEng or BTech) or similar.
• 5 years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
