Qualifications

  • At least 2 years relevant experience, preferably in Mechanical Services (Mining, Power Generation and/or Petrochemical industries).
  • Fully conversant in English; additional languages an advantage.
  • Be computer literate in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Follow job procedures and guidelines.
  • Be attentive to detail, cooperative and willing to participate in training.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle from analysis to implementation and feasibility assessment.
  • Produce well-organised, optimized, and documented source code for technical solutions.
  • Ensure designs support self-service, repeatability, testability, scalability and resilience.
  • Apply design patterns to deliver reliable solutions.
  • Debug existing code and polish feature sets.
  • Collaborate with integrated teams to evolve products and services.
  • Align development processes to Group Architecture and Infrastructure guidelines.
  • Input into project plans, releases, testing and risk management.
  • Conduct reviews, performance monitoring and maintenance of applications.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and cross-domain skills.
  • Perform peer reviews and support user adoption materials.
