Overview

Legal Mailroom Administrator

Location: Cape Town (Waterfront Area)

Salary: R11,000 – R14,000 CTC per month (including benefits)

Introduction

An established legal firm in Cape Town is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Legal Mailroom Administrator to join their Facilities and Logistics team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of courier operations, including scheduling pickups, booking deliveries, and preparing required documentation (invoices, waybills, tracking records).
  • Handle internal mail, collections, deliveries, and related postal services.
  • Maintain accurate shipment and inventory records using Microsoft Office and courier software.
  • Assist with archiving administration, stock retrievals, and data capturing.
  • Provide general office and facilities support, including printing, scanning, binding, and document preparation.
  • Offer frontline assistance (reception cover) and support health and safety and facilities coordination activities.
  • Liaise with service providers and assist with Wills Administration and other administrative duties as needed.
Requirements
  • Matric (Grade 12).
  • At least 2 years' experience working in a legal firm.
  • Experience in courier, mailroom, or administrative support functions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
