Job summary

Solenya in Cape Town is seeking an ML research scientist to push zero-shot multimodal discovery. You will design, implement, and evaluate novel architectures that power Solenya's core technology.

You will collaborate across teams, run hyperparameter optimization, ablations, and publish results. You’ll work with PyTorch, HuggingFace, and our training infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of ML research experience (academia or industry).
• Strong publication record in CV, NLP, or recommendation systems.
• Expert-level PyTorch and deep learning fundamentals.
• Experience with RL, representation learning, or multimodal models.
• Ability to go from paper to production prototype quickly.
