Job summary

A luxury travel agency in South Africa is hiring a Sales Manager to drive revenue across international markets. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in luxury tourism sales and a proven track record of exceeding targets. This role involves building relationships with global clients, leading sales teams, and representing the brand at international events. With a minimum of 5 years in the luxury travel sector and 2 years in management, the candidate will help shape exceptional journeys across Africa.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a luxury inbound travel environment.
  • At least 2 years’ proven Sales Management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth across bed nights and DMC sales.
  • Aggressively pursue and exceed sales targets.
  • Represent the brand at major international trade shows and sales events.
  • Develop, present, and follow through on compelling sales proposals.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with key global clients and suppliers.
  • Lead, mentor, and support Market Sales Teams to enhance performance.
  • Identify new sales leads and penetrate target markets.
  • Ensure brand integrity and client satisfaction.
  • Manage expenses and contribute to profitability.
  • Uphold health, safety, and workplace compliance standards.
