Job summary
Placements24 is seeking a creative Aircraft Interior Design Specialist to develop bespoke interior concepts for private and commercial aircraft in a hybrid work setting in Klerksdorp. You will translate client requirements into detailed designs, balancing aesthetics with safety and regulatory compliance.
The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio in luxury interior design, proficiency in AutoCAD, 3ds Max, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite, and a keen eye for materials, ergonomics, and space
Qualifications
- Degree in Interior Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, or related field.
- 4+ years of interior design experience, aviation preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop interior design concepts for aircraft cabins, galleys, and lavatories.
- Create mood boards, 3D renderings, materials specs, floor plans.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and manufacturing teams.
- Ensure designs meet aviation safety standards and regulations.
- Source materials and oversee fabrication with suppliers.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new materials.
