We’re thrilled to announce the Luckybeard Technology Launchpad Programme for 2026.

What is the Launchpad Programme?

The Luckybeard Technology Launchpad is a 6-month paid internship and graduate experience designed for emerging full stack developers who are ready to kickstart their careers in the world of creative technology.

We’re looking for curious, motivated, and talented individuals with a foundation in full stack development, whether gained through formal study, relevant training, or self-teaching, and are eager to apply their skills to real-world projects that bring ideas to life through code and craft digital experiences that make an impact.

Join the Beards, a team of technologists, designers, strategists and problem solvers for a 6 month journey filled with hands on experience, guided learning and personal mentorship from experienced engineers who will help you grow with purpose and confidence.

Who can apply?

• Have a foundational understanding of software development, including foundational front-end, back-end and database principles
• Have gained your skills through formal study, relevant training, or self-teaching
• Have little to no formal full-time work experience
• Be available full-time (8am–5pm, Monday to Friday)
• Be passionate about technology, curious about solving problems, and eager to grow as an engineer

This is a paid, hybrid internship, based at Luckybeard’s offices in Irene and/or Rosebank.
