Job summary

AVBOB, in partnership with INSETA, offers a 12-month Occupational Certificate: Long-Term Insurance Adviser Learnership Programme for unemployed individuals, based in Mmabatho, North West. The programme provides a stipend and a pathway into the insurance industry.

Applicants must be 18–35, hold a matric certificate with English and Maths, and be prepared to work in our offices. Preference given to those from disadvantaged groups.

Qualifications

• Must have matric certificate with English, Maths/Maths Literacy/Accounting.
• Ages 18–35.
• No previous learnerships attended.
• Not registered with another academic institution.
• Reliable mode of transportation.
• Smartphone and/or laptop would be an advantage.
• Computer skills: MS Office, Email and internet.
• Ability to work independently and show initiative.
• Must be a South African citizen.
• Monthly allowance (stipend) will be paid for the duration of the learnership.
• Company reserves the right to determine the placement of the learner.
• Preference will be given to suitably qualified individuals from previously disadvantaged groups.
