Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth in the supply chain and logistics sector. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in sales, a strong understanding of logistics principles, and the ability to cultivate customer relationships. Responsibilities include identifying new sales opportunities and managing key account relationships. This position is based in Cape Town, South Africa.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience selling supply chain and logistics solutions.
  • Proven experience in a business development role within a logistics environment.
  • Knowledge of customs, SARS and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and research new business opportunities.
  • Cultivate a strong commercial pipeline and secure new customers.
  • Onboard new customers successfully, adhering to SOP, SLA, KPI.
